well its not bad that you like him but it does create problems. I think 2 weeks is too soon to do something, give it a bit more time. But that usually doesnt happen so be prepared for a small fall out. Honestly its kind of a rule not to go out with a friends ex but if you feel that strongly then i say go for it. I notice i get much more along with white girls and hispanic/latino girls than asian girls. I'm an asian guy (korean) myself. I'm not racist or have any "racial" preference. Beat up,cops wouldnt help?

Last night I was sitting at home, my neighbor came over and said he was having a get together at his place directly across the street. So I went over, his family was there about 7 latino males and 5 latino women, we are all having a good time. We were all drinking, and we were all outside in between two cars when suddenly one of the women ran over to me saying "you can't hit him like that!" and started hitting me (I never hit anyone to begin with of course) and at that moment all of them began to hit me, my 12 year old son saw the whole thing happen and began to try to helo me and get my family. I managed to make it across the street almost to my door when one of the men grabbed a sledge hammer out from the back of his truck and hit my leg with the hammer. My family was trying to get me into the house when one of the women attacked my 18 year old daughter. Once we made it into the house we called the police. They came and talked to us for about 3 minutes, then went over and began 'invesitgating" at the neighbors for approx. 15 mins. When they finally came to out door we invited them in and they basically said that the neighbors said I was calling them racist names and thats why the fights broke out. Also they said that I was the one with the sledge hammer! The police said the neighbors don't want to press charges and if we wanted to press charges then they would have to bring both families to jail! This isnt right something should have been done, we didnt get a police report and I dont understand why the police were talking to them first and why they believe them. What can I do?

Was I right in not joining military?

I've never lived outside of Texas. Being young I always considered joining the united states military. My grandfather a WWII veteran, father a Vietnam veteran and me, could've been Iraq veteran. I moved to Indiana and was about to enlist, when I noticed how people(white)here would look down on me because I was Latino. "Do you smoke?" you know I feel offended when they ask me this type of bullshit questions, and it looks like her father don't appreciate low income people, I come from a very urban area if you noticed.

Help getting back into splits? ?

I had my splits for a long time may I start with. I was sitting in them one day and my entire front leg cramped up (right) and I felt a pop kn the middle of my back hamstrings. Got out of them immediately and started applying the RICE(rest, ice, compression, elevation) method right away and went to the doctor the same day. It wasn't a bad injury, was just sore for about three days. Was told not to do any activity for two weeks which I followed then instructed to start stretching it. I have begun again and for the first time in 3 weeks attempted my splits. I'm now about six inches above the ground because it begins to hurt a little bit, may I remind you I could do oversplits. Any useful stretches and methoss I could use to get down again within a month and a half since I have drill team line camp from July 25-29. Please have thorough answers. Thank you.
