Im mestizo Hispanic but people tell me i try to be white what do i do?

Im not trying to be white its just who i am and i dont think im trying to act WHIT. It just angers me that everything has to be a stereotype it angers me that im not latino enough if i dont act like a stereotype. I automatically get accused of wanting to be white just because im Americanized and like stuff like metacilla. Because last time i checked whites weren't the only americans. I get angered when hispanics have to throw a fake accent even though they are 100 percent american born and raised in the u.s just so that they can be "Hispanic enough". I know hispanics are of all races but im speaking primarily about mixed hispanics.
