What y'all think of black having their own sub group doing the 2020 census?

Here in the UK every racial group has their own sub-group (even whites) in the census and has had for decades. We had a census this year and everyone was asked for their ethnicity (not nationality). I put White Irish which is my ethnicity (even though I've never been to Ireland). I'm glad they've finally seen sense in the USA. Here in Europe, Ireland and France take no notice of ethnicity AT ALL. Very strange!
