Why are so many puerto rican mothers not teaching?

their children how to speak family but if you ask me its because their ashamed as my mom was am mixed aand most puerto rican, older generation hate rican men i consider myself a latino and not mixed(jewish and black so am more hispanic) and this geneeration is usualy with black dudes idk i asked more than one question
