Do you think ethnic studies are vital to understanding all events in history?

In some ways yes, you have to have an understanding of the culture of the people your learning about before you learn about how people are in a specific situation. It also applies to specific situation though, not in all events. It is also important to remember to teach Ethnic Studies in a purely unbiased manor.
