Help me remember this r&b song plz?

I was on Pandora, and an r&b love song came on by a guy who looked like he might be Latino. I don't think he's a super popular artist tho. He had a hat on, and smooth skin. And the song was corny. I think his name may have started with "Ma" and no its not bruno mars.
