Help getting back into splits? ?
I had my splits for a long time may I start with. I was sitting in them one day and my entire front leg cramped up (right) and I felt a pop kn the middle of my back hamstrings. Got out of them immediately and started applying the RICE(rest, ice, compression, elevation) method right away and went to the doctor the same day. It wasn't a bad injury, was just sore for about three days. Was told not to do any activity for two weeks which I followed then instructed to start stretching it. I have begun again and for the first time in 3 weeks attempted my splits. I'm now about six inches above the ground because it begins to hurt a little bit, may I remind you I could do oversplits. Any useful stretches and methoss I could use to get down again within a month and a half since I have drill team line camp from July 25-29. Please have thorough answers. Thank you.
